In general, Face ID will only unlock your iPhone in a portrait orientation. That’s because the TrueDepth Camera is only capable of recognizing you in that position. However, in landscape mode, Face ID can recognize you if you wear glasses or sunglasses. It’s also faster.
Another feature of the new software is the ability to display the Apple Watch display on your linked iPhone. You can do this by opening up the Settings app and tapping Accessibility.
Live Activities widgets
One of the most exciting new features in iOS 16 is the Live Activities widget. This feature allows you to track real-time events and results from apps. You can also see the latest data from your apps on your Lock Screen.

To use the Duplicates feature, you need to unlock your iPhone with a passcode or Face ID. If you are in a restricted area, you may not be able to use the feature. Contact Apple Support to find out if you are eligible.
To delete or merge duplicate images, go to the Utilities section of Photos. Once there, you can select several images to merge. After selecting multiple images, you can hit the Select option at the top right. Alternatively, you can tap the More button to get the Paste Edits feature.
You can also lock the Hidden Album in the Albums tab of the Photos app. This will keep your private photos out of prying eyes.
